Havest For Humanity...Giving Back!
HfH grows fresh fruits and vegetables which are distributed through food banks, prepared food service organizations, community centers, other non-profit organizations, and to numerous handicapped citizens (many of whom are children and elderly shut-ins) of Arizona.
Since its inception in 1991, this Foundation has donated over 1,000,000 pounds of organically grown fruits and vegetables to Arizona local food banks, soup kitchens and care providers. Through volunteer efforts, more than 400,000 people are fed each year. More than 1,000,000 meals have been fed using Harvest for Humanity's organic produce.
We are a 501(c)3 not for profit foundation that was started in 1991 by Homer Piatt. Homer's passion is to make a difference in this world by helping feed the hungry of Arizona. This Foundation has not only provides fresh organically grown food, but it has also been an inspiration for many people in the Valley including the Garden it Forward Team (G.I.F.T.) to volunteer their time, talents and money. It is a beautiful way for people to coming together to help out their fellow man, woman and child in their local community.
